A.I.A. Self Flashing Skylight
The self flashing skylight by A.I.A. Industries, Inc. features proven weathertight and insulation characteristics with simplified installation. Standard configuration includes double insulated acrylic domes, however optional triple dome and flat profile skylights are also available. This product is recommended for overhead applications with roof slope between 3:12 and 12:12.

Design Features

The A.I.A. self flashing skylight is available in double and triple dome models. Flat glazing is also available in glass, acrylic, or triple wall Polycarbonate. Each unit is factory assembled in an extruded aluminum frame. The self flashing design eliminates the need for on-site wood curb construction and flashing. Thermally broken aluminum frame for maximum thermal efficiency. Available in bronze or white.

Specifications

Skylights shall be self flashing type manufactured by A.I.A. Industries, Inc. 290 East 56th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80216. Skylights shall be model number _____ with inside dimensions _____. Domes shall be thermo formed from an acrylic sheet and assembled in __________ (double or triple glazing configuration). Dome tinting to be: primary dome __________ (bronze 2412 or clear), secondary dome ___________(white 2447 or clear), triple dome __________ (white 2447 or clear). Skylights shall support at least a 40 P.S.F. live load. Dome height in primary glazing shall be 25% of shorter base dimension. Glazing shall be separated at flange with a continuous neoprene gasket with allowance in frame for thermal expansion and contraction. Lowest dome shall be separated from frame by a continuous neoprene gasket. Self flashing aluminum curb frame shall be 4 inch height profile extruded alloy 6063T5 with poured polyurethane thermal barrier. Wall thickness shall be .078 inch on aluminum curb frame and and .062 inch on retaining angle. All joining aluminum edges shall be tungsten inert gas welded and joining thermal barrier sealed at joint with butyl sealant. Frame and retaining angle shall be __________ (white painted aluminum or dark bronze anodized finish). Skylights shall be fully assembled by manufacturer and ready for installation.
